Performance:

6N, 7n ultra-high purity copper contains very few impurities, and its product has small grain boundary area and few lattice defects, which can replace the gold bonding wire as a semiconductor.

1. Low resistivity: using standard conductor at 4.2K, the resistance of 6N copper is 2.3 × 10-12 Ω m, while that of 4N copper is 1.1 × 10-10 Ω M. The conductivity of 6N copper is about 20 times higher than that of 4N copper at very low temperature.

2. Good thermal conductivity: ultra high pure copper has high thermal conductivity at very low temperature. The thermal conductivity of 6N copper is 3.0 × 104w / MK at 18K, and that of 4N copper is 3.1 × 103w / MK at 18K.

3. Good ductility: 6N copper has excellent processability, which can be drawn into copper wire with diameter of 20 μ m to 30 μ m, or pressed into thin copper foil. The brittleness of low sulfur 6N copper disappears from 600k to 700k.

4. Low softening temperature: 6N copper softens at 350 K, 6N copper can be easily drawn into 20-30 micron thin wires, while 4N copper softens at 440 K.

It is used in integrated circuit (semiconductor chip), flat panel display, thin film solar cell, information storage and transmission of electronic information industry.
